Qualifications

Age requirements for drivers

• • Age 25+ with 6 month’s tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months
• • If less than 25, must have 2 years applicable tractor/trailer experience with 6 months flatbed in the last 36 months.

Hiring requirements for drivers

• • No more than 2 moving violations in last 2 years
• • No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
• • No DUI’s in the last 5 years
• • No DUI’s ever in a commercial motor vehicle of any class
• • No refusals of a drug or alcohol test
• • No reckless or careless driving convictions in last 5 years
• • No pending felony charges or convictions in last 10 years.
• • No conviction of any kind ever for possession, sale, or transfer of narcotic drugs, amphetamines or illegal substances.

Tractor Requirements

• • No age limit on tractors
• • All new leases must pass a CRST Malone annual DOT inspection
